For Here or To Go?
Every day I drive past a little mom and pop business named “Condoms To Go.” An elegant yet quaint little establishment found right between the local dive shop (in Texas?) and the used tire shop with spanish signage. As nice as place that I’m sure it is, their sign had be thinking, isn’t that name redundant?… I mean, is there really any other option for that sort of purchase? What’s going on in all these other Condom shops? Are people opting for a “for here” option on a regular basis? And is it such a problem that this business feels the need to delineate themselves from the others in their business name? Why is there an entire store dedicated to the sale of prophylactics? Seems as if a trip to CVS would save a whole lot of trouble.
